Moving from shame to sexual liberation!
Hey there lover, welcome, so glad that you are here! It warms my heart, truly, as you begin your sexual healing and awakening journey.
My background is in Biology, Health Promotion and Mental Health. As I approached my 30th birthday, I pledged to be free in ALL areas of my life which then spawned the journey of exploring the connection between spirituality and sexuality because for such a long time the two have often been separated. Also, growing up in an immigrant household, sex was not discussed and when it was, only the negative consequences were highlighted. So my view of sex was inevitably constructed into what is considered sex negative.
On this journey I have discovered that sex is more than an act but a way of life, it's about pleasure and connecting with life in a much deeper way. It’s about expanding and becoming liberated in all areas.
My work centers women’s health and sexuality, with an affinity for women who identify as Black and other women of color. I work with couples & individuals; newly single, in a long term partnership, recently got into a relationship or engaged/married. Please note, if you do not identify as BIPOC you are certainly welcomed to work with me as well. My guiding principles are pleasure, liberation, joy and fun. I employ expressive arts which include but are not limited to, dance movement, explore the inner artist within you and meditation. You will create sustainable somatic (body) practices for presence, empowerment and an awakened sex life and overall life!
On this journey, you too, can discover that sex is more than what you do or don't do with your genitals, it's about living a pleasurable life and BEING. Connecting with your sexuality guides you into learning your body, trusting your desires, your voice and expression and begin asking for what you desire in all areas of your life (work, family, friends etc). Your relationship/s will be liberated, enjoyable and full of love.
You deserve to be seen, heard and valued. Pleasure is your birthright.
